We’re excited to announce a set of major platform enhancements that make Ragie faster, more intelligent, and more versatile than ever before. These upgrades push the boundaries of what’s possible with multimodal RAG pipelines and open up new use cases for enterprises worldwide.

Right-to-Left Language Support for Multimodal PDF Extraction

PDFs remain the backbone of enterprise knowledge—yet extracting accurate data from them is a hard technical challenge for anyone building AI applications and agentsI. Ragie’s multimodal PDF extraction already goes beyond plain text, capturing images, tables, charts, and structured layouts using a combination of machine learning models, OCR, LLMs, and Vision LLMs.

Starting today, this pipeline now fully supports right-to-left (RTL) languages, including Hebrew, Arabic, Hindi, and Urdu. Achieving this required us to re-engineer every stage of the extraction stack to handle RTL natively—from document structure detection, to OCR, to semantic enhancement.

Customers are already building innovative products on top of this capability. For example, one customer has launched an educational AI platform in Arabic, capable of extracting rich scientific coursework PDFs complete with chemistry diagrams and complex tables. With global demand for AI applications in native languages, we’re excited to see how our customers worldwide put this to work.

Enhanced Multilingual Multimodal Extraction

Ragie’s ingestion pipeline has always supported multilingual documents and cross-lingual search—allowing users to query in one language while retrieving answers from documents in another.

Today, we’re taking multilingual support even further. All data enhancements generated post-extraction—including image descriptions, table interpretations, and document summaries—are now automatically created in the original language of each document.

This delivers two powerful benefits:

• Higher accuracy for non-English content indexing and retrieval.
• Better user experience for global applications, where end users can now read auto-generated summaries and multimodal enhancements directly in their native language.

For enterprises building multilingual knowledge systems—whether in finance, law, education, or research—this ensures Ragie meets the needs of truly global AI deployments.

Faster PDF Processing

Enterprise AI requires speed at scale. PDF extraction is a multi-stage, compute-intensive process—especially when documents contain thousands of pages, images, and embedded charts.

We’ve completely re-architected our PDF pipeline, optimizing everything from data extraction and chunking to indexing. As a result, Ragie now processes PDFs faster than before.

For our customers, this means:

• Real-time ingestion of massive enterprise data sources.
• AI agents and applications which are faster and more real time.
• A foundation for low-latency, production-grade RAG systems.

Enterprise teams can now confidently deploy Ragie for use cases that demand both scale and speed—from compliance systems scanning incoming reports to conversational agents trained on the latest research papers.

Large PDF Handling Without Limits

Finally, we’re lifting one of the most common barriers to enterprise-scale RAG: document size limits.

With our new extraction pipeline, Ragie can now process PDFs of any arbitrary size in full high-resolution multimodal mode. Whether it’s a 10,000-page technical manual or a massive compliance report, Ragie ingests, chunks, and indexes it seamlessly.

Some of our early enterprise customers are already pushing this to the limits, with PDFs well beyond 10,000 pages. Ragie not only keeps up—it delivers consistent, structured, and retrievable output at scale.
